philadelphia living

I live in the art museum area of Philadelphia and I love my apartment, except for one thing…. my frequent & very uninvited visitor, Squeaker the mouse. Squeaker is no ordinary mouse, I’ll have you know. He is what I like to call a “super mouse.” Squeaker likes to join me in my humble abode on the third floor (he’s a climber) and has accomplished some incredible, albeit disgusting feats. I have glue traps, the type that you fold to form a rectangle. Ideally, the mouse is attracted to the peanut butter scent of the glue and comes through and gets stuck. Squeaker is not ideal. This super mouse got stuck in one of these traps (which I didn’t notice) and miracuously escaped only to leave droppings, much of his hair & teeth marks followed by a trail of white paper underneath my counters…. great. So my super mouse is still alive and at large, living off remnants of leftover Easter candy & crumbs :(
